Types of Coverage

SafeTreker has Four Types of Coverage offering varying levels of benefit and sports coverage depending on your budget and travel needs.

Please Note If you’re taking a Couple or Family policy, these coverage types are per person:

  • Base Plan: It covers an extensive range of sports and activities.
  • Extreme Sports Upgrade: Coverage for many high-risk non-team sports or recreation activities that are dangerous and if performed optimally, even by the highly skilled, risks loss of life of limb.
  • Mountaineering Upgrade: Coverage for the sport, hobby or profession of walking, hiking, climbing and Rock Climbing up mountains that requires the use of ropes, harnesses, crampons or ice axes, or involves ascending beyond an altitude of four thousand five hundred (4,500) meters.
  • Both Extreme Sports and Mountaineering Upgrades: For travelers who will be participating in both an Extreme Sport and a Mountaineering sport during their trip.
